For two weeks, Philippines went through a lot. Most especially on her northern part, there were landslides, flooded and even destroyed houses, broken bridges, wrecked cars and business establishments and of course bodies of people scattered. The country was strongly hit by two storms. The first storm was named as Ondoy, hit Manila and nearby provinces. The second storm was named as Pepeng, hit the most parts of Northern Luzon. One storm came just after another and now the country is believed to be in a state of calamity. A lot of places are still flooded, a lot of people are still mourning brought by lost of a loved one or even loved ones, and a lot of people continues to fight against hunger. Many weren't prepared to be hit by two storms. But still, there is something to be thankful for and that is the current unity among Filipino people to help each other and bring to life again the country that was hit by Ondoy and Pepeng.
